Mr. Yu is an experienced practitioner of feng shui who has taught the discipline to over twenty thousands students for more than twenty years. He is held in high esteem as a knowledgeable and compassionate teacher with a great sense of humor. In his contribution to the cultural kaleidoscope program of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, he has worked with people the world over with the keen intention of passing on the feng shui knowledge to those who are interested in this Chinese culture and let the world know how a basic knowledge of feng shui can benefit all at work and at home. Mr. Yu is currently teaching feng shui, palm and face reading in the Federation of Workers' Union as well as his own centre. He provides consultancy services in both Hong Kong and overseas.
In his course of practice, Mr. Yu has provided feng shui consultancy services to and conducted workshops for companies such as Hong Kong Institute of Architechs, Sun Hung Kai Limited, Cathay Pacific Airways, Home Affairs Bureau, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Kowloon City District Council, China Resources (CRC) Group, Cable TV, Dynasty Club, New York Life, Island Resort, Hong Kong Property, Midland Holdings, Rotary Club of Hong Kong North, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Fung Ying Seen Koon, Lehman Brothers (HK), Hong Kong Article Numbering Association Board, ZARA, Chiao Tung Bank, Century 21 Hong Kong Limited, etc. He was also invited to provide consultancy services by the developers of various luxurious housing estates such as “Beacon Hill One & The Pacifica” by Cheung Kong Holdings; “Parc Palais” by New World Group/Sino Group; “Bellagio” by The Wharf (Holdings) Limited, and “The MIXC”in Shenzhen.
Mr. Yu is popular with the media and is regularly interviewed by international and local papers, magazines and TV stations. He has appeared on the CNN, China Daily News, Discovery Channel, Australian TV, CCTV Beijing, Taiwan TVBS, China TV, Singapore TV; as well as giving numerous media interviews or writing articles for local and international media from Italy, Spain, France, Australia, Taiwan, and Singapore. To name some: Tai Sing Pao and Sing Pao of Taiwan; Singapore “Nuyou” magazine; Oriental Daily News, Sing Pao, Hong Kong Commercial Press, Hong Kong Economic Daily Press, Sing Tao Daily News, Ming Pao, Sun Daily, etc. He was also interviewed by Xinhua News Agency.
